Upon graduating from Columbia University, David Epstein became a Professor of Political Science. Professor Epstein applied game theory and statistical modeling to the analysis of political institutions. His research includes such diverse topics as racial redistricting, legislative organization, inter-branch delegation of authority, Internet voting, democratic transitions, and ethnic politics.

David Epstein is now an expert in animal and landscape photography. His main goal is to capture the raw emotion found within candid moments and therefore feels that words are unnecessary in understanding the context of a photograph. He travels to various parts of the world and brings their stories back with him through his Photography. David discovered that he had this talent soon after his first daughter, Madison, was born. David has three beautiful daughters, Madison, Morgan and Quinn Epstein.
